Monovelo, the Wheel You Pedal From the Inside

Instead of riding above the wheels on your bicycle, what would it be like to ride inside the wheel? In the history of velocipedes, there have been a number of monowheel designs, but the latest version is the Monovelo, which you might remember seeing during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The Monovelo is a giant wheel, two meters across, with the rider sitting on an inner frame containing the seat, handlebars, and pedals. The inner frame contacts the outer wheel through three small wheels, allowing it to remain in position as the Monovelo rotates forward while pedaled. There are no brakes on this ride (just your feet), and the steering is handled by shifting your weight, not through any steering mechanism.
